   • For a patient with an admission diagnosis of inferior-wall myocardial infarction (MI), use lead II or III.
   • To assess an anterior MI, bundle-branch block, or wide-complex tachycardia, use V₁.
   • Never use aVR because it doesn't look at a specific part of the heart.
   • If the system lets you monitor more than one lead, use leads II and V, which probably will give the most complete information.
